Community Recognition Ceremony

On February 24 I joined Richard Todd, Chris Birkett and Shari Tallon where we performed the song “The Forgotten Homeless” and Richard accepted a Community Service Award for our work in raising awareness and funds for the homeless.

All royalties for the song go to WoodGreen’s UNMET Needs program. Please stream it today and watch the video on YouTube.

The awards were presented by MPP Chris Glover and held at the Waterfront Neighbourhood Centre. This year, 30 nominees were presented with certificates!

It was so wonderful to hear the stories about all the members of the community making a difference.
