Fri 11th Sept - One off gig for Hospice - with Loyd Grossman's band!
Anna has been invited to perform at a fundraiser for the Isle of Man Hospice, as an opening act for TV Chef Loyd's band 'The New Forbidden'. Also performing on the night, which is taking place at Paramount City in Douglas from 8pm, are stellar indie rock band Uber Room. Tickets are just £10 and are available from the Welcome Centre (Sea Terminal), Hospice, St Paul's Bookstore in Ramsey and the Bridge Bookshop in Port Erin.
08.04.09 - Special PA with the London Met Orchestra
Anna has been invited to appear with the 72 piece London Metropolitan Orchestra as part of this year's TT celebrations. As explained in a recent press release, "the concert features a world premier symphony specially commissioned for TTXGP to celebrate the launch of the world’s first clean emission grand prix. This unique event will include a modern repertoire of film classics and rock/pop anthems and a special PA by Anna Goldsmith and will feature work from composers as diverse as John Williams, Michael Kamen, Stavinsky, Debussy, Prince, Queen, Frankie Goes to Hollywood, Rob Doughan and many more." 07.04.09 - Anna to feature on Robin Gibb DVD
Anna will be featured on a forthcoming DVD release of Robin Gibb's 'Ellan Vannin'. The limited edition disc will feature the video from Robin (filmed with the King Williams' College choir last year), plus videos from four special musical guests covering their favourite Bee Gee tracks, of which Anna is one. We'll reveal the song she's chosen at a later day - but suffice it to say, it's verrrrry different from the original (of course, we think it's better ;)

Anna played a superb set in support of Bee Gee legend Robin Gibb. We filmed the performance, and one of the clips - of the opening 'Monsters Mash-up'* is now available on Youtube - but you can also see it right here.
*Anna played a short version of Monsters that mixed into Tenfold, hence 'Monsters Mash-up'...see what we did there? I'll get m'coat ;)
