| "Beautiful...tis the only word i can use to describe the snowfall that hit the Isle of Man on early Saturday morning (lots of people i know walked home from the clubs in it stopping off to make snow angels!!!). So with the island looking its most stunning we decided to head off into the hills and make a start on a promo for "Older Than My Years" my very newer than new song (about 2 weeks old now!).
We found one of many fields completely untouched by footprints or tracks and decided (without permission) to use it (good job the island has no known trespassing laws...that i'm aware of anyway!).
Despite the cold and the abundance of snowfall (and Christy and Rob being slightly hungover!), we spent the afternoon filming in the field. My feet were soaking and hands were numb but it was definitely worth it as it isnt often it snows on our shores and I am sure it will make for some great shots for the vid.
The only downside is that the most effective piece of camerawork didnt quite turn out as it seems the camera was suffering from its own form of hypothermia!!! So we headed back up there early evening to re-shoot what was missed off ,unfortuntely the blizzard like effect has been lost forever :-(
